With these sneakers you will always have the bitcoin price at your feet - bitsneaks gID 5.jpgBitsneaks is the name of the new sneakers that are equipped with an LED panel that can display the price of bitcoin in real time.

3G and LED screen

Sneakers capable of displaying the price of bitcoin (quotation of BTC) in real time could be the latest craze for bitcoiners, and convinced of this, its creators are inviting Twitter users to participate in a raffle that will select the winner of the high-tech footwear.

Bitsneak is the name of the pair of sneakers that have 3G mobile internet connectivity integrated with an LED screen that permanently displays the bitcoin price. But not happy with that, the shoe's lights will turn purple as the cryptocurrency's value approaches $ 1 million.

Bitrefill, the platform that offers prepaid cards with bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, has partnered with American basketball player Spencer Dinwiddie, who is part of the Dallas Mavericks NBA team.

So together they decided to create products for bitcoin users, with whom they also intend to compete with giant companies like Nike, for example, as Sergej Kotliar, founder of Bitrefill, said in a statement sent to us.

Shoe control via app

The first creation of the partnership between Bitrefill and Dinwiddie are the Bitsneakers trainers which cost 1 BTC and can only be purchased with bitcoin. As a further innovation, the company reports that the integrated LED display can be controlled via an app. Plus, they integrate a full knot and digital extraction facility into their shoe box.

The Bitrefill team says it has worked in partnership with design collective TNSID and Spencer Dinwiddie to make what they call a "quantum leap" in trainer technology.

The company is inviting its Twitter followers to enter a sweepstakes to win a couple of Bitsneaks. The winner will receive the high-tech trainers and an additional pair without integrated technology that was worn by the player Dinwiddie.
