Ethereum or Bitcoin: which cryptocurrency should you invest in ?: a brief analysis of the health status of the two digital currencies.
Considering that in December - for better or for worse - we had the opportunity to take a look at all the features of cryptocurrencies, and that i bitcoin have attracted and then disappointed the ambitions of those many investors who, perhaps belatedly, wanted to participate in their business, more and more traders who at this moment are wondering if it is still worthwhile to bet money and attention on Bitcoin, or rather it is better to bet on the main rival, Ethereum.

To try to reach a resolution of this question, we can only briefly summarize what happened in 2017, including a brief analysis on the final part of the year, which saw penalized all cryptocurrency with the sole exception of Ripple (which in fact has become the second cryptocurrency by market capitalization, precisely at the expense of Ethereum).
Bitcoin and Ethereum
Beyond that, note how the Bitcoin price has increased by 600% in one year and that of Ethereum has instead grown by 4000%, with certainly more substantial growth. Despite this however, the capitalization of Ethereum remains very far from that of the Bitcoin.
However, if you have to choose looking not to the past, but to the future, we believe that the potential of the two virtual currencies can be the decision-making pivot, considering also that they have a basic technology that is completely different.
Il Bitcoin yes it "started" before the other virtual currencies, but over the years it has shown concrete weaknesses; Ethereum it is a counter party later, but operates on a ledger technology that is considered "better" than the BTC one, lending itself to more versatile and flexible uses and, therefore, attracting the attention of traditional financial institutions as well.
Also on the basis of this, it is easy to see how Ethereum 2018 forecasts tend to be rather positive, and that in many cases they are well above Bitcoin ones ...
