Adoption of cryptocurrencies in Venezuela

The country of the dictatorship against the decentralized nature of digital resources. At first glance, it looks like these two wouldn't be a great match, but somehow surprisingly, that's not the case in Venezuela.

The nation's financial struggles, such as hyperinflation and poverty, have led to a growing love for bitcoin and other digital assets among the local population. Therefore, it is no wonder that the Latin American country is one of the leaders in terms of cryptocurrency adoption.

Last year, Burger King Venezuela allowed Caracas customers to settle their accounts with some of the most popular cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum, Binance Coin, Dash and Tether.

A few months later, another well-known food chain, Pizza Hut, allowed customers to pay with the following digital assets: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dash, Litecoin, Binance Coin, and more. The offer has become available in all Pizza Hut locations in Caracas, Maracay, Maracaibo and Barquisimeto.

We bet that sooner or later what has already happened in El Salvador will happen in this South American country too? We look forward to new developments and enjoy the new cryptocurrency rally in the meantime. And you know how buy Bitcoins? Let us know in the comments section below.
