Ripple's XRP can now be used in over 3,3 million online stores

Users can now download the plugin on GitHub and follow the instructions provided to start accepting the criptovaluta Ripple as a payment instrument.

The Ripple XRP digital asset has taken another significant step towards expansion and mass adoption.

XRPL Labs plans to add the XRP payment plug-in a WooCommerce, one of the most popular E-Commerce platforms on the Internet.

Thanks to Wietse Wind, the founder of XRPL Labs, the implementation of the plan is in the pipeline.

The 7 March Wind announced in its Twitter account a program of benefits that will reward any developer who can create a XRP plug-in for WooCommerce.

A week and a half later, a developer Jesper Wallin, presented a plugin for the payment gateway, so that it can allow WooCommerce users to easily accept XRP as a payment method.

The success of WooCommerce

WooCommerce is a platform of E-commerce open source used by around 3,3 millions of websites and one of the most important payment platforms on the whole web.

With WooCommerce, users can sell digital and physical products, manage inventory and shipping, make secure payments and order.

There is also support for i mobile devices.

With the company XRP payment plug-in presented by Jesper Wallin, WooCommerce users are now able to accept XRP cryptocurrency as a means of payment.
