Shiba Inu developers have been actively working on the launch of the Layer-2 Shibarium Scalability Platform. As the launch of Shibarium approaches, the team behind Shiba Inu continue to share their expectations. If you want to start trading in view of a possible upside, you can use Bitcoin system, which in addition to SHIB, allows you to negotiate many other cryptocurrencies, without having to buy them directly.
Shibarium is a "pine tree" that requires water
In his recent tweet, Shiba Inu influencer “Nasty Shib” shared a screenshot of Shytoshi Kusama's expectations that alludes to the potential usefulness of the Shibarium network. Shiba Inu lead developer Shytoshi Kusama said the upcoming Layer-2 Shibarium blockchain will be useful for cryptocurrency projects such as Falcon 9 (F9) and Metabet (MBET).
Falcon 9 is an Ethereum-based community cryptocurrency project whose native F9 token is tradable on the Uniswap decentralized exchange and the Shiba Inu ShibaSwap decentralized exchange. METABET, on the other hand, is a play-to-earn/Gamefi casino ecosystem that can only be traded on the Shiba Inu decentralized exchange.
In the shared screenshot, Shytoshi Kusama wrote: “I am so excited to see projects like F9, Ufo, MBet, VXL and other tokens using Shibarium and our other platforms. That's the point, isn't it?"
These latest comments from Shytoshi Kusama add fuel to the fire of the Layer-2 Shibarium blockchain launch. Earlier this month, Kusama likened Shibarium to a "pine tree" that requires water, sunlight and good soil to grow.
Furthermore, the lead developer added that Shibarium will survive and thrive even during the harshest of winters. Shibarium's Layer-2 network will ensure fast, cheap and secure transactions. Additionally, Shiba Inu is building Shibarium to serve different cryptocurrency industries, such as the Metaverse and gaming. All these exciting features of Shibarium are making the cryptocurrency community even more excited about the upcoming launch.
Shibarium is scheduled to launch in February
For a few weeks now, there has been talk of the launch of the Layer-2 Shibarium blockchain. Some well-known people in the cryptocurrency space believe that Shibarium will launch by mid-February, tentatively on February 14th. However, there is still no official confirmation from the Shiba Inu developers.
As the excitement around Shibarium grows, other players in the crypto community are gearing up. Popular cryptocurrency influencer SHIB Knight noted that the Shiba Inu team is reportedly working on a Shibarium bridge that would allow users to transact between Ethereum and Shibarium. If so, this development would bring great utility to the Shibaarium blockchain. On the other hand, cryptocurrency hardware wallet maker Ledger has already confirmed support for the Shibarium protocol at launch.
