The current partnership between the two companies is mutually beneficial because Ready Games has the expertise Aeria needs to port games for Web3. The company allows game developers to easily convert projects from Web2 to Web3 to take advantage of blockchain gaming. Thanks to Ready Games, developers can easily make the transition without having to learn new skills.
Ready Games CEO David S. Bennahum expressed the company's enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting a combination of unique tools and tokens. Bennahum said:
We are excited to support Aeria in its migration to Web3 gaming, using our suite of Web3 gaming tools for live operations and innovative ecosystem token, AURA. Together we can continue our shared mission of bringing Web3-enabled mobile gaming to the millions, and eventually billions, of people who play games on their phones every day.
Aeria Games has 14 titles with a total of 1 billion downloads on mobile. While the exact number of titles that will move to Web3 is uncertain, Aeria Games will start with Rescue Robots: Sniper Survival.
In addition to keeping up with the times, repurposing will provide players with NFTs representing their gaming assets. The value created will create a secondary market that will allow more players to securely trade these assets to help them in the game.
So far, Rescue Robots: Sniper Survival has a 4,3 rating on the App Store, with nearly 250.000 monthly active users and over 5 million downloads. Ready Games has already scheduled Beta testing of Rescue Robots: Sniper Survival for December 1st. Both companies expect the full launch for January.
Aeria Games Canada is determined to expand access to its games to more users, thanks to the push to Web3. Aeria Canada CEO Jorge Flores spoke about the benefits of the Web3 push, stating that:
We are incredibly excited about our strategic partnership with Ready Games Network. Aeria Canada is accelerating its entry into Web3 using Ready's infrastructure. Our mobile gaming users will be introduced to Web3, giving them access to ownership of NFT assets and tokens, new rewards and incentives.
Both companies plan to push other titles into the Web3 space if the Web3 version of Rescue Robots: Sniper Survival on Android is successful.
Aeria Canada is a leading studio in the mobile gaming industry with over 40 games available for players across multiple platforms including iOS, Amazon, and Android. To date, the company has over $5 million in revenue and has a monthly active user (MAU) of 2,5 million. Aeria's games provide an opportunity for studios, users and developers to interact, and also offer token rewards and incentives for NFT holders.
Ready Games aims to decentralize access to video game development so that professionals and amateurs have a level playing field. The company is taking it a step further by helping the transition from Web2 to Web3 through live gaming operations, accessible through turnkey APIs and SDKs, and a distributed token economy that benefits all parties.
