US Senator Cynthia Lummis "Excited" by Falling Bitcoin Prices, Expects to Buy Down

US Senator Cynthia Lummis said she was "really excited" about the low price of bitcoin (quotation BTC) and is planning to buy in decline. “As soon as it goes down a little more, I'll buy more,” he said. The senator believes that bitcoin is a great store of value.

US Senator Cynthia Lummis intends to buy in "Dip"

US Senator Cynthia Lummis of Wyoming commented on the drop in the price of bitcoin on Tuesday in an interview with Fox Business. She was asked what she thought of the bitcoin price which continued to fall and approached the $ 30 mark. The senator said: "I'm really excited about it, because as soon as it goes down a little more I'll buy more."

He then shared the story of another investment he had made earlier. “My favorite stock I own is a company called United Rentals. I bought it when it dropped to the lowest level. I held him tight and… he performed beautifully over the years for me. And I see that bitcoin can do the same kind of things, because the fundamentals are good ”.

Senator Lummis was also asked if she wanted some kind of regulation for bitcoin. "Yes," he said. "I want to have a level playing field".

He explained that the rules should be simple and easy to understand for digital assets and cryptocurrencies, stressing that they should not be "too restrictive because we want to see more innovation in this sector".

The senator already owns BTC

Lummis revealed last year that they are in possession of bitcoin and said the cryptocurrency is a great store of value. “I was struck by how innovative bitcoin is with its decentralized public ledger and fixed supply,” she explained at the time.

The senator plans to convince her colleagues in Congress of the benefits of bitcoin. “I want to make sure everyone understands that this is a great store of value,” he said earlier.

Senator Lummis isn't the only one planning to take advantage of the falling bitcoin price and buy in Dip. Microstrategy just bought 13.005 bitcoins and Rich Dad Poor Dad author Robert Kiyosaki recently revealed he's been waiting for the BTC price drops to $ 24K to buy more coins.

Where to buy bitcoin

There are many platforms to buy BTC, but Bitcoin Revolution it is probably one of the best. Very low minimum investment, 24/7 customer support and the ability to trade both BTC and other cryptocurrencies. In addition, thanks to the automatic mode, even beginners can be approached.

Meanwhile, we would like to ask you what you think of Senator Cynthia Lummis' statements on bitcoin and her plan to buy more coins during the decline. Let us know in the comments section below.
