NFL legend Tom Brady would like to get paid in cryptocurrencies

Tom Brady is experiencing a phenomenal 2021-22 season, on and off the pitch. The future Hall of Fame quarterback has been in the news recently for his support of cryptocurrencies and related projects. Now, TB12 has announced that it wants to be paid in cryptocurrency.

He has long been a strong advocate of cryptocurrencies

In a recent episode of Brady's “Let's Go” podcast with Jim Gray and Larry Fitzgerald, the living legend said: “I'd like to ask to get paid in some cryptocurrencies and, you know, to get paid in some Bitcoin or Ethereum or Solana tokens. ". Brady continues to double down on his support for the industry by saying, “I think it's an amazing thing that's happening in the world with the way the world is becoming more digital. And these digital currencies, along with many, if you look at how the world is doing, with all these different digital media and how they are affecting currencies. "

Tom Brady also confirmed during the episode that "there are other big names that have indicated they would like to be paid in Crypto".

Brady enters cryptocurrency with his legs stretched out

Brady, who has earned more than $ 300 million in his decades in the NFL, has been a vocal advocate of digital currencies. Not only does it support the effort, but it also participates in several projects including non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and a deal with FTX.

The deal with FTX also includes Brady's wife and international supermodel, Gisele Bündchen. Despite Brady's 20+ years in the NFL, Bündchen is actually the couple's main breadwinner, having been the highest-paid model in the world from 2002 to 2017.

The pair signed a lucrative deal with FTX with Brady who has become a brand ambassador for the cryptocurrency exchange while Bündchen heads FTX's environmental and social initiative. Both have also received cryptocurrencies and holdings in FTX. In addition to the FTX deal, Brady has also signed with Autograph.io to market and sell NFTs in his likeness. Brady released his first NFT collection, the Preseason Access Collection, in August and the entire lot sold out almost immediately.
