Libra: 3 of 28 members are planning to abandon the project - pounds

The members of Libra who at the moment are thinking of leaving the project they are three. Among the twenty-eight founding companies of Libra, therefore, three of these would like to no longer participate and thus leave the project even before its launch. The Financial Times reported this probability but has not published nor which companies made this decision nor what are the sources from which the newspaper took the information.

The reason for this defection would be due to an increasing pressure from regulators towards the project launched by Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook. In fact, the three companies that would like to abandon the project would be concerned about being involved in the project precisely because of the reaction of various institutions, in particular towards a potential threat to financial stability.

Una company representative who would like to leave the Libra project, stated anonymously that: it will be very difficult for the project partners to continue participating, especially for those who want to be seen in compliance with the rules in force in the various states. For this reason someone is starting to think about taking a step back, and moving away from a project that might not be well seen from different state institutions.

The amount paid by each of the 18 founding members of Libra should be equal to 10 million dollars apiece, but the quotas were not paid in any case, so for investors it would be easy to abandon the project before making the payment which instead he would see them bound to Libra.
